has spent the last year as a science officer aboard the USS Discovery before receiving transfer orders and arriving at the starbase to meet with his new ship
USS Copernicus. He is looking forward to the new assignment aboard a science vessel with a measure of excitement.

Met his soul mate aboard the USS Copernicus, Commander Tamaska Holt. They moved in together and after several months they were married. Shortly afterward Tamaska was promoted to the rank of Captain and made X.O of DS 21. Junjie was Promoted to the Rank of Lieutenant Commander and given command of the USS Copernicus.
