From the helm, Lillian reported "Sir! The Andromeda just dropped out of warp and is approaching." On the viewscreen, the majestic image of a Galaxy class starship came into view and despite herself, she let out an impressed whistle. While she was happy to be getting experience handling the Copernicus, Lillian was still impressed by the size and beauty of the Andromeda.

"They're hailing us." Lillian added after a beeping on her console broke her out of her reverie.

"Excellent. Lieutenant Han, establish an uplink with the Andromeda and send them all of our sensor data, readings and findings as well as a copy of the data uploaded from the T'Kon computer systems... open a channel if you would be so kind Ensign!"

Junjie looked up at the main view screen from his seat at the science station. " Oh My!! That's a big ship. Are they here to tow us to the garage for repairs or offer us valet service in the shuttle bay? " He joked. " But honestly it's good to see some friendly faces that are willing to help. "

Tam watched as the Galaxy Class Ship arrived, raising an eyebrow and then smiled, at least the USS Copernicus was going to get help.

"Captain Reynolds... thank you for responding so quickly. We are establishing a link with your computer now and will send a copy of all of our findings and data... Some interesting reads in there for you!" Keiben started, smiling at his counterpart and the immensity of the ship he had command off. If only Copernicus was in the same league, they may have had a completely different outcome from their last mission.

"Excellent. I would like to invite you over and talk on things more," Jon said. "My engineering teams are ready to beam over. I believe Lieutenant Hawkins has been liasing with your Senior Chief Stoun."

"We eagerly await your engineering teams" Keiben looked off away from the screen to Ensign Adams who was standing nearby and simply nodded his head before turning back. Adams took notice and started for the turbolift and the transporter room to greet the support teams. "As for having a discussion, when would you like us to transport over?"

“Whenevers convenient Captain. I would also like to issue an invite for dinner this evening, you, your first officer and any partners,” Jon extended.

"Very gracious Captain... We will be there promptly. I think I have a bottle of Saurian Brandy hidden away for just these kind of occasions!"
Keiben remarked, casting an ear to the back of the bridge to listen in on what was being said.

Sher’ra looked at the ship on her sensors, “damn, that’s a fine ship” she said under her breath. She’d seen a few Galaxy class ships before, but this was the closest she’ll ever be to one.

“My host Leila had quite the few ambassadorial journeys in one,” Mel said from the back. She had decided it was one of the times to exercise her right to be up on the bridge. And the view of the vessel, she had to agree with the others made it worth it.

Sher’ra smiled, “well, it’s no Neg’var but the galaxy class has its charms”

Osil sat at one of the consoles at the rear of the bridge and turned his head towards the main viewscreen. "Gosh that ship is huge....I'm almost envious here now... I mean this ship is just dwarfed compared to that. Don't you wish we had one of those now?"

"I am looking forward to getting to know the command staff of the Andromeda and who knows what they have experienced in their own adventures." Tamaska remarked.

"Do you require anything more from us Captain?"
Keiben once again focused on the viewscreen, feeling the same envy that his bridge officers were showing in regards to the larger vessel before them but also a stung pride that they would feel that way about Copernicus.

"Saurian brandy sounds wonderful," Jon said. "See you at Dinner captain. I look forward to hearing of the USS Corpernicus's adventures. Reynolds out."

Tamaska looked over at Keiben, noting a slight stiffening of his body language, "She maybe a beautiful ship" nodding over towards the USS Andromeda. "but I feel more connected with the Copernicus and she is beautiful."

"What I miss?" Chief Stoun stepped off the turbo lift and fixed his uniform. "Sorry I'm late."

"Your help is on the way Chief. Adams has gone to meet them from the transporter room and will bring them to engineering!" Keiben offered an apologetic smile knowing the Chief had brought himself from Engineering to the bridge only to have to head back down there again now.
"At least we are not a Galaxy Class!" The Captain offered hoping it would in some way be consolation to his Chief Engineer.

Jon frowned. "Yeah yeah... alright, back to Engineering." He waved to everyone and then headed back onto the turbolift.

At the helm, Lillian monitored the approach of the Andromeda and adjusted the trajectory and speed of the Copernicus to bring the smaller ship alongside and hold relative position.

Junjie looked up from his station at Science and glanced at the view screen. " Sure the Andromeda is a beautiful ship, But I still like the Copernicus better. Sure the Galaxy class ships go in and make first contact, notify Starfleet and leave. But ship's like ours come in and do the real work. We study and explore. We interact with the locals and bridge cultures, So if you ask me this is where the real action is. " He said with a grin. " And I couldn't be happier being assigned to the best ship in Starfleet as far as I'm concerned. "

Sher’ra smiled, “if you say so, though I wouldn’t mind something with a bit more fire power”
