Jaas'rah Tugged at the EV suit feeling uncomfortable wearing so much heavy material having been forced to join the away team by his Captain. He had left his customary leather strap top with pauldron behind. His clothing was far more liberal and easier to move in... it also left very little to the imagination, something his clan within the Orion species had instilled in him from a young age. Sexuality and its application across life was how he had been raised, but this EV suit felt more Alien to him than his away team members. One Naausican and a Lethian. Because of the pheromones in his system he had been forced to have an inhibitor installed at a younger age which he had complete control of. Right now it was engaged so as not to cloud the minds of the away team, despite the zero atmosphere around him.

"So why are we the ones on this wreck and not the engineers?" he complained while trying to worm his hand in to repair a still active terminal.

The Lethian ignored him while the Naausican just grunted. Neither one of them was at ease doing this kind of work but Jaas'rah knew the three of them had been sent because they were expendable. Something had ripped through this ships shields and torn a hole in the side of the hull large enough to have every emergency forcefield generator on the ship overload. Not to mention that effects the Metrion Gas Clouds in the area were having on the Orion Corvette's sensors. It had to be in the densest area of the Briar Patch that this treasure trove of Starfleet tec had been discovered... if treasure trove was the right term. It had turned out to be a Starfleet Vessel that was of an obsolete design.

The comm link on his wrist chirped before the gruff sounding voice of the Captain could be heard in the helmets of the three away team members.
'Jaas... you are on your own. I need Krihn and Fexon. We've found something else!' the comm closed and the other two were snatched away by a transporter beam effect before he could object.

Slowly he worked his way loose from the consoles innards and moved to watch his ship begin to move away, his view of the Lexxin'toh unobstructed as the hull breach extended up to the bridge.
"Bye guys... please do come back for me!" he waved with a sarcastic smile.

Sudden something moved from the denser part of the local Metrion clouds, a flash of something and it was moving directly towards the Lexxin'toh. He wasn't sure what it was until it impacted the hull, a ripple of explosive decompressions could be seen across the far side of the ship, debris being ejected away from the ship. Another streak of energy and another impact, this time tearing right through the hull and the following antimatter explosion finished the Orion Corvette off.

He had been caught off guard, not expecting what had happened and he continued watching for a few moments, slacked jawed with shock.
"Now this could be a problem!"
