L'johk had been pulled onto Cerberus at the last moment, just before departure, Commander Holt advising him simply that he would be needed as muscle which he jokingly replied he had in spades but his laughter had soon faded when Commander Holt did not return the mirth instead levelling him with a very dire expression.

He had pulled on a tight fitting leather sleeveless shirt and equally as tight fitting leather pants, a loose fitting holster hanging around his waist looped through a belt loop to keep it from falling and a Ferengi pistol sitting in the holster. He had to assume this was some kind of clandestine mission, of which he had been given no details.

He checked the pistol over quickly and was slipping it back into the hip holster as he entered the shuttlebay to find a solid gathering of the senior officers, some of which had donned similar apparel as to himself.
"Reporting as ordered sir!"

Lyras looked the newcomer over, arching a single eyebrow at the amount of weapons. Unlike the rest of the group however, he was carrying nothing but his blade which was strapped to the left side. There were no markings on the holder or the blade itself to betray their origin. Besides that, he carried a simple pouch with the necessities one might need for a doctor on an away mission, without drawing instant attention to his profession.

Tia walked into the shuttlebay with the clothing she'd arrived in when she was ripped from her own universe. The only difference was that these were clean and somewhat more comfortable than the previous. She wore her long dark red leather coat... she loved that coat. On her hips, she decided against Starfleet tech and wore two single barrel El Aurian pistols she'd acquired.

The door at the far side of the shuttle bay opened and Lillian entered, noting that the shuttle was ready for departure and the team was preparing to board. She approached Lieutenant Lyras. "Are we all set?"

"I believe so ma'am," the Vulcan hybrid answered, "though I do wonder how we are to covertly scan for this virus. Taking out our Starfleet equipment, will instantly betray who we are."

"I did bring some confiscated scanners from the security lock up if you want to use them?" Tia asked. "I think one is actually Vulcan if that helps. I also have a Ferengi, a Human designed one but not Starfleet issue and a rather old looking one that looked Bolian in nature." she showed Lyras the different kinds.

Lyras examined the offered equipment and selected the Vulcan one. "Can you show me how this one works?" he requested, "I am unfamiliar with this design."

"Of course." Tia said as she handed it over. She spent the next 5-10 minutes or so going over the basic functions of the Vulcan scanner, the features that it had and essentially it worked the same as a Starfleet one just a little different in placement of programs and such. "It's actually a nice one. I fitted a small emergency beacon in it just in case we need it. To use a Human expression, fingers crossed we won't."

"Thank you ma'am," the Vulcan hybrid answered gratefully as he watched the instruction to use the scanning device. "And what of medical equipment? What should or should I not bring? I would prefer to not be without a standard medkit...."

"Looks like you have one in the shuttle sir!" L'johK announced as he emerged from the shuttles open hatch. "It's a Benzite kit but looks to be filled with the usual suspects just not Federation Standard equipment."

"As long as I can use it," Lyras answered with the minutest of smiles, "I will inspect it when we depart then." He gestured for Adams to move so he could get inside.

Tia smiled somewhat at the sounds of the crew interacting. It had been a while since she'd not felt the need to look over her shoulder in constant fear something was coming.

"Let's get in and get moving then." Tia commented as she moved to enter the shuttle. "Lt. Is'san, have you completed the flight checks? I'd like to get this mission started."

"I have indeed Lieutenant. The shuttle is ready for you and your team to depart!" The Kelpian emerged from the shuttle and moved to stand just behind and to the side of Commander Carter.

Lillian nodded satisfied. "Good luck. You've got 72 hours. If you're not back by then, we'll come and get you. There's an encoded subspace transponder that we'll be using to track the shuttle. The signal is encoded so it will appear to be just background static to anyone else. It also has an emergency broadcast function if the need arises, which hopefully it won't" she added. "I'll be on the bridge, Lieutenant..." she turned to Is'san "You're with me."

Tia nodded as she watched Carter and Is'san leave before turning and further entering the shuttle. She moved towards the shuttle's helm station and turned to the group. "Anyone need to pee before we leave?" she joked a little. It was Human humour but sometimes it filled a gap.
