Stolen Moments

Mission: Episode 4 - The Fires Of Hades
Location: DS21/ Quarters

They had to take a break, and Tamaska was worried about Junjie. He had gotten injured when the station went back into time, he did get fixed up by Melanie. They had barely enough time to kiss, get some sleep and also at times they didn't get to sleep at the same time. Even if it was going to be just a few hours together, it had to be done. She set up a meal for the two of them and sent off a message to Junjie.

"Hey love, come to our quarters, love Tamaska."

Junjie stopped and massaged his temples. This temporal device was proving to be frustrating and wasn't will to yield up it's secrets as of yet. He tapped his combadge as he received Tamaska's message. " Acknowledged, I'll be there soon. " he checked the time and noted he had worked an hour past his duty time without even noticing it. He left the science lab and went to they're quarters and walked in. " I'm home my love, I hope your day has been better then mine. " As he massaged his temples once again.

"I will probably be out in it once more, in a few hours. An XO's job is never done." Tamaska replied, as she stepped into view wearing a long silky red nightgown and dinner was already. "I wanted to make certain we had a good dinner." giving a gentle smile.

Junjie looked up and froze in place for several moments before speaking. " By the gods your beautiful. " He stammered. " Whatever you made I'm sure it will be delicious." He stared at her briefly and pondered a moment. " Today's not my birthday is it? "

"No it isn't your birthday, its just something to brighten up our day, my love." giving a smile, happy at the effect she was having on Junjie. "Hopefully this does brighten your day." walking up and giving him a passionate kiss.

He closed his eyes and savored the taste of her lips. " Mmm.... That was perfectly seasoned. If the rest of dinner is as excellent, then this promises to be a feast I'll never forget. " He swept her up in his arms and went to the dinner table. He gently placed her where she could stand next to the table and pulled out her chair. " So what should we begin with? " He asked. Forgetting all about his headache.

"I don't care lets just eat and then well, have a nap?" giving a laugh, as Tam sat down to begin their meal. "This is just a simple meal, stir fry with rice, shrimp and mushrooms. And your favorite kung pao Chicken, and I know that you do love it."

Junjie took a bite of the kung pao chicken. " Mmm... Did you get my mothers recipe? " He asked. " It's just as good as my mother's, But don't tell her I said that. " He said jokingly. " Dinner and some cuddle time does sound good to me. we've both been so busy, we hardly have seen each other. " He smiled as he looked at her. " Thank you, the meal was very thoughtful of you. I wasn't expecting anything like this at all. "

Tamaska beamed, as she was very happy to have surprised him. "Well... that is my own recipe, Junjie." sticking out her tongue at him. "I just wanted to surprise you. And glad I can compare to your mother's cooking." a fake huff, then a wink. "Mine is better since I sleep with you." giving a giggle.

Junjie cupped his chin with his hand and looked towards the ceiling. " Well I guess I can't argue that point. "He said. " The last time I slept with my mother I was an infant, so I really have no clear memories of that. On the other hand when we're together, sleep is normally the last thing on my mind. " He said with a devilish grin. " Perhaps after dinner I can engage you in a discussion on the hereafter, And if you believe in that, then you'll know what I'm here after." He said as she caressed her face and allowed his hand to go the length of her hair before pulling her in and kissing her tenderly.

Tamaska laughed, and let herself be drawn in. "Please, I do want to hear about the hereafter." returning the kiss. "Maybe... we can skip one form of dessert and have something different." giving another kiss to Junjie. She ran her hand down his back... "Interested?"

" Interested? " He asked with a smile. "You are the love of my life and my soul mate. The day I'm not interested in you is the day that I'm no longer living, And until that day I will always be by your side. I hope we have many long happy years together with many cherished memories together. "

Tamaska smiled softly. "Well then love, lets... go have dessert." moving from her seat and headed for their bedchambers, holding on to his hand with a smile.

After a wonderful dinner and a pleasant repast spent together they woke a few hours later from a restful nap. " It seems like forever since we've gotten to spend any time together. Both of us are nearly working double shifts since we've arrived here, And with taking care of the wounded, repairs to the station, meetings and everything else there's almost not any time to breathe. " He kissed her forehead and pulled her closer. " Well whatever is happening on the station right now it can wait another five minutes..... Maybe ten minutes." As he looked into her eyes and smiled warmly.

Tamaska chuckled and pulled him close once more, ten more minutes, just ten more minutes of stolen moments.

He reached forward and tenderly stroked her long dark tresses, as he looked into the eyes of the woman he loved and saw that love reflected back to him in her eyes as well. " Tamaska my love, A lifetime of stolen minutes with you would never be enough. " As he closed his eyes and felt her warmth as she lay there next to him and enjoyed being near her, as he basked in the knowledge of the love she had for him and looked forward to the future that they would share together.

Tamaska gave another gentle laugh, a feeling of contentment washing over them.
