Charlie had this chaps’ quarters number and she had debated all last night whether to go visit him. Her courage had been lost when she started following him the other day. But she needed to know who he was and what was going on. Her mum clearly wasn’t going to tell her.

She paced a few times back and forth down the corridor trying to get her courage up.

“Ok yes I’m going to do this,” the brunette muttered squaring her shoulders and walking back round. She jammed the chime worked up that her mother had been hiding things. The door opened and …..

It wasn’t him…

Neshia stared at the girl at her door, still holding her buttered piece of toast with some raspberry jam on it. "Er, hello, can I help you with something? Er please come inside, I was about to sit down for some luncheon. Would you like some eggs and toast?" not quite knowing what to do, for this was the first time she'd met this girl. Something about the girl reminded Neshia of someone. She just couldn't put her finger on whom though.

Charlies mouth dropped again. He lived with someone. A wife or girlfriend. This was so much worse. What did she do now? "No thank you ...." she started. Oh crap what did she say. "Erm I just wondered .... your husband ...." she guessed. "Is he here? Could I have a word?"

"My husband, Kotan..." Neshia raised an eyebrow. "He said he had some things to do ship wise, is there something wrong?" feeling her heart race a bit, "What can be the problem." walking towards the table where her.. meal was set. "There hasn't been an accident has there?" taking a seat on the chair.

"No no ..." Charlies eyes opened wide. She was stood in the doorway kind of trapped now. What did she do? "You know what I'll come back another time. Sorry I interrupted ....."

Somehow though she knew she wasn't getting out of this so easily now. She took a couple of tentative steps back and crashed into someone.

"Hey 14," Minka stated. "I know its a small ship and all but you gotta stop banging into .... ... oh ... your really not good at this spy gig are you?" she commented spotting the other lady. "Your going to have to tell her. There's a girl code you know."

"Wait, whaaat?" Neshia getting up from the table and moving towards where the other girls were at. "What is going on? Spy gig? Girl code? Please tell me about what is going on?"

Minks practically yanked her into this ladies quarters. “Your boy. He’s been spending time with ...”

“My mum. I saw her kiss him,” Charlie said.

“And he came back. Clothes were shed,” Minka finished.

Neshia blinked, feeling rather confused, angry, and hurt. "Wait my husband is seeing your mother.. Who is your mother? I am so confused!"

“Your confused, ” Charlie said. “My mum the CMO”

A flash of memory hit Neshia's mind, as she thought of what she saw when visiting sickbay and found that she was pregnant. "I.. .heard your mother talking with my husband. They were talking about flying and.. and.. She kissed him?!"Tears were beginning to roll down Neshia's cheeks, as she made her way to the nearby sofa. "I wish I didn't come to this ship, I wish that Kotan didn't agree to come here." covering her face with her hands sobbing.

“I'm sorry, ” Charlie said looking at Minka in horror. “Believe me I'm going to have some serious words with her.”

“Look stop crying, ” the engineer said. “Win him back. Your carrying his baby. You have all the cards.”

Neshia looked at Minka between her fingers, tears still streaming down her cheek. "Yes, I am pregnant with his children." she said between sniffles. "Oh I don't know what to do about this. How do I get him back? Any suggestions?"

Minka rolled her eyes briefly. How had this women ever ended up married and pregnant?

“Plenty. Ok look 14 you're gonna go confront your mother and put an end to whatever super happy fun times been going on. You... Lady We are going to get you cleaned up, find a killer negligee and set a scene here that when he returns he's not ever going to want to stray again. You get what I'm saying?”

Neshia nodded then shook her head, feeling like she was really off kilter. "Negligee, a killer one? Oh seduction of my own husband. I shall set atmosphere for that one." she looked at Charlie, "I thought your mother and I were going to be friends, I don't know if that will happen now. I don't know if my husband would cheat on me. Your mother is so beautiful, though and ..." her two sides were warring with each other, as well as her brain, "I think I am just going to lie down here for the moment." Neshia feeling rather tired all of a sudden, then she felt nauseous. "but first!" Neshia got up from the sofa and hastily retreated to the bathroom where she lost what food she had on her stomach.

Minka pulled a face and sniffed heavily. "Go on. I'll sort this." The engineer followed the wife stopping to get her a glass of water while Charlie slipped out wondering what on Earth to say to her mum.
